Machine Operator Positions

Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring for Machine Operator Positions in Ferndale, MI. In general food assembly for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:

• Reading product recipes, along with measuring and using scales to weigh ingredients.
• Able to operate control panels on specific machines.
• Adhere to food safety and sterile work environment process.
• Ability to identify ingredients and label accordingly.
• Self-motivated with eagerness to cross-train and work in a team environment.
• Food product experience is a plus.

This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation of $14.00 - $14.50 per hour. Generous referral bonuses are available. Available shifts include 1st (6:00 am – 2:30 pm) 2nd shift (2:30 pm – 10:30 pm) 3rd shift (10:00 pm – 6:30 am).

Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. During their peak season starting in May, you will work 7 days a week.
