We are seeking dedicated Packers to join our team in a dynamic food and beverage environment. This position involves working with both hummus and salsa production at our Ferndale location, where the majority of the work areas are kept cold to maintain product quality. Candidates must be comfortable wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE), including lab coats, hair nets, rubber gloves, and beard nets.

• Operate 'filler' machines to fill plastic containers with food.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality.
• Use hand tools and packaging equipment efficiently.
• Navigate computers for operational tasks.
• Adjust product weights as necessary.
• Label, inspect, and pack finished products.

• Experience in multitasking while on their feet.
• Proficiency in visual inspection.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Comfortable using computers and navigating software.
• Experience using scales and understanding weight adjustments.

In the food and beverage industry is advantageous, but experience in any industrial or automotive is acceptable.

• Familiarity with industrial equipment such as filling machines or mixers, especially those operating on pneumatics and hydraulics, with valves and hoses.

Employees must be comfortable wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE) including lab coats, hair nets, rubber gloves, and beard nets. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with mandatory Saturdays and potential Sunday shifts. Available shifts are 6am - 2:30pm, 2:30pm - 11pm, and 10:30pm - 6am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ferndale, MI.

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $14.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Ferndale, MI.
