Secondary Mathematics and Pastoral Care Teacher About the Role

We are seeking an engaging and dedicated Secondary Mathematics and Pastoral Care Teacher to join our team for Semester 2. This is a fixed-term contract position working 4 days per week (0.8 FTE). In this role, you will inspire students in their mathematical learning while actively supporting their social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing through our structured pastoral care program. Applicants who are enthusiastic about participating in and leading pastoral care activities will be viewed favourably during the selection process.

• Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to secondary students in alignment with the WA Curriculum.
• Lead a pastoral care group, fostering a supportive environment and mentoring students.
• Develop, resource, and assess curriculum materials in alignment with school policies.
• Engage with parents, guardians, and support staff to track and improve student progress.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education (with a major/minor in Mathematics).
• Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA).
• A valid Western Australian Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• A current Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).
• Strong classroom management and a deeply empathetic approach to student wellbeing.
