Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site Massage Therapist role located in Ferndale, WA. The Massage Therapist will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services, tailoring sessions to individual guest needs and wellness goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing a variety of massage modalities, preparing treatment spaces, maintaining professional standards of cleanliness and safety, and accurately documenting services. The role also involves educating guests on stress management techniques, supporting overall relaxation and recovery, and collaborating with other spa and wellness team members to deliver a consistent, caring experience.
The Massage Therapist will uphold Flow Motion's culture of exceptional customer service and contribute to a calm, welcoming environment.
- Strong therapeutic massage skills, including Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques.
- Ability to support guest well-being through Stress Management techniques and relaxation-focused practices.
- Demonstrated excellence in Customer Service, with a calm, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
- Valid massage therapy license/certification in Washington State, and compliance with all local regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, accurate records, and professional boundaries at all times.
- Comfort working in a spa and yoga environment, with openness to complementary wellness practices.
- Availability weekends as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
