Job SummaryOversees daily Banquet functions, Events, Meetings. Provides leadership and direction to Banquet staff in accordance to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications- 1 year of Food and Beverage Management and/or Food and Beverage Experience
- Capable of taking direction and working with minimal supervision
- Detail Oriented
- Must be able to work flexible hours i.e. holidays and weekends
- Having an understanding of word, excel, and outlook
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Class II, Food Handlers Permit, MAST (alcohol training)
- Participation and input toward Marketing activities
- Ensures compliance with health and safety codes and policies
- Exceptional customer service in a professional manner
- Ensures all billing is accurate
- Lead and motivate staff
- Multi-task and prioritize workload to meet all deadlines and guest expectations
- Participate in monthly staff meetings
- Communicate daily with F&B Management and Sales teams
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Implement daily plans set forth by Banquet Manager
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitations and organization of Banquet areas
- Position will supervise Banquet staff, in conjunction with Banquet/Food and Beverage Director
- Perform any other duties requested by Manager/Director
- Monitors all cash handling processes and monitors alcohol services within their assigned events
- Constantly on feet for multiple hours during the day
- Frequently lifting and/or carrying up to a maximum of 55lbs.
- Carrying, lifting, and pushing food chafers for distances
- Constantly engaging with guests and communicating with staff
- Hazards: hot food, hot water, wet floors
- Working in a smoking environment
- Indoor climate-controlled environment
- Department Food & Beverage
- Reports to title Director of Food & Beverage
