We’re a fast-growing, premium cannabis company in Washington, and we’re looking for a Controller / Accounting Manager to scale our post-harvest operations and lead with purpose, precision, and people in mind.

The Controller serves as the company’s senior accounting and financial operations leader, responsible for the integrity of financial reporting, the effectiveness of internal controls, and the reliability of financial data used for decision-making. This role owns the day-to-day financial architecture of the business while acting as a key strategic partner to the CEO and executive team.

As the company grows in complexity and scale, the Controller will progressively assume broader strategic responsibilities, positioning the role for advancement to Finance Director, with expanded ownership of long-range planning, capital strategy, and enterprise-level financial leadership.

• Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Internal controls and regulatory compliance (including IRS 280E)
• Budgeting, forecasting, and KPI visibility across the business
• Financial systems, reporting tools, and process improvement
• Executive-level financial insights that influence real decisions

• 7+ years in progressive accounting or controllership roles
• Experience in regulated industries (cannabis, pharma, manufacturing, etc.) strongly preferred
• Strong technical accounting foundation + advanced Excel
• Builder mindset: you see inefficiencies and fix them
• Comfortable balancing hands‑on execution with strategic thinking
• Experience with EOS or similar systems is a big plus
