Description
We are looking for a proactive, innovative team player to join our day shift Production Team. This person must be able to operate equipment efficiently and effectively while adhering to the run schedule assigned by the team leader.
Location and hoursThis is an onsite position at our Ferndale, WA locations. The shift schedule is Monday-Thursday / 6 AM-4:30 PM.
Requirements
- Operate equipment to assist in the production process
- Assemble materials and equipment as required
- Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met
- Support continuous process improvement efforts
- Support other departments as needed
- Ensure compliance with all GMP's, Barlean's SOP's, and SQF regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- Attention to detail - documentation oriented processes.
- Self-starter and follow through.
- Task Oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, and climb ladder and stairs.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Flexible to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information in English.
High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Experience in working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Working conditionsWorking conditions are normal for a plant/manufacturing environment.
