About the RoleWe are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse – Level 1 to join our team at Howard Solomon Residential Care, working regular shift patterns each week. These roles focus on leading and supporting the care team while delivering excellent, person‑centred care to our residents.
You will play a key role in guiding the care team during your shift, delivering hands‑on clinical care, overseeing resident health and wellbeing, mentoring staff, and ensuring the shift runs smoothly while fostering a warm and welcoming environment for residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the care team during shifts to ensure high‑quality, resident‑centred care.
- Deliver hands‑on clinical care to residents, assessing and responding to their health and wellbeing.
- Mentor, guide, and support care staff to develop skills and confidence.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support resident care.
- Recognise and respond promptly to changes in residents’ health or behaviour.
- Contribute to improvements in care practices and participate in team initiatives.
- Current AHPRA General Nurse registration
- Experience in aged care or healthcare
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
