North County Landscape CO. has proudly served our community since 2003, and we are currently seeking an experienced, energetic Project Crew Lead to join our growing team. We’re looking for a motivated individual who is ready to lead, grow, and build a long‑term career with us.
Position OverviewThe Project Crew Lead works alongside a team of 2–4 crew members performing landscape maintenance services on residential and commercial properties. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to guide a crew to meet quality and productivity standards.
Landscape maintenance duties may include pruning, hedging, weeding, leaf clean‑up, edging, and other general maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities & DutiesLead and direct a crew of 2–4 team members
Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and meet company quality standards
Verify appropriate tools and equipment are used at each job site
Perform trimming, pruning, blowing, raking, and edging to specifications
Spread bark and gravel to meet job expectations
Report equipment issues or damage to the shop
Assist with unloading and dumping debris at the end of the day
Support the Maintenance Manager with additional tasks as needed
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Capable of frequent walking, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and squatting
Experience operating landscape maintenance equipment
Knowledge of proper pruning and trimming techniques
Horticulture experience or strong interest preferred
2 years of leadership experience
Valid Washington State Driver’s License
Clean, insurable driving record (MVR required)
Must be 18 years or older
$25–$27 per hour (DOE)
Monday–Thursday schedule (occasional Fridays during busy season)
Paid holidays
PTO after 180 days
