Rope Access Level I Technician - Ferndale, WA

We are seeking a Rope Access Level I Technician to perform visual inspections via rope access under the direction of a Project Manager, Team Leader, or independently. The ideal candidate will have extensive field technician experience and supervisory experience within a Rope Access team. This position offers an opportunity for growth in industry services.

Salary & Benefits

Base wage: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour, with compensation based on skills, experience, and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation/sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement, and more.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain climbing logbook per SPRAT/IRATA guidelines
  • Prepare NDE reports and document data in a clear and timely manner
  • Interface with clients on technical matters involving Rope Access and NDE procedures and capabilities
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance of assigned trainees
  • Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors
  • Organize and report test results, sending information to office for data processing
  • Stay abreast of technology advancements in the NDE/Rope Access industries
What It Takes To Be Successful
  • Current SPRAT/IRATA Certification Level I (required)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years field experience (required)
  • Prior ASNT Level II certification in MT, PT and/or UTT (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Valid TWIC card (required)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required)
  • HH Safety Training (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a physical examination
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors
  • Problem-solving skills in the field
