Matrix Service, Inc. is seeking experienced Mechanical Insulators for their Ferndale, WA location. These professionals will apply insulating materials to various structures, including pipes and tanks, primarily in refinery environments. The ideal candidates are journey persons with strong safety awareness, technical skills, and the ability to work in physically demanding conditions.

• Wages: $52.00 to $63.00 per hour

• Graduated journeyperson status from a WA state approved apprenticeship program
• Minimum of three (3) years in refinery maintenance, turnaround, or construction
• General knowledge of basic hand tools
• Ability to complete NCCER certification for your craft
• Basic math skills for measuring and cutting insulation
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and protocols
• Clear communication skills
• Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination
• Completion of company, process safety, and client/site-specific training
• Active status in appropriate drug testing program
• Pass background check
• TWIC card
• 20-hour high hazard facility training card
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, lift up to 50lbs, and work at heights or in outdoor elements
• Ability to wear required PPE
