Become a key player at Elk Valley Hospital as a permanent full-time Plumber | Maintenance Worker. Ensure optimal facilities operations by utilizing your plumbing skills and general maintenance expertise.

This full-time role, operating Monday through Friday, focuses on supporting plumbing systems across multiple Interior Health locations. Your responsibilities will include performing skilled plumbing work, handling installation, maintenance, and repairs while adhering to essential codes. Additionally, you will address various trade needs and collaborate with different departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute plumbing installations and repairs with expertise

• Read and interpret technical blueprints accurately

• Carry out safety assessments and maintenance checks

• Assist with general facility maintenance tasks

• Liaise with various departments for efficient operations

Requirements:

• Journeyman Plumber Certification or equivalent training

• Class B Gas Fitter’s License with electrical endorsement

• Two years recent, related practical experience

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required

• Commitment to high safety standards and operational effectiveness
