Chapters Intern; Fall

Position Title

Intern

Remote. Must be a college student/graduate residing in the U.S.

Active Minds is a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the culture around mental health. The internship is part of the Fall 2026 program, which runs from September 14, 2026 to December 4, 2026.

• Support the Chapters Network by managing communications with student leaders across the U.S. and Canada.
• Create educational content and resources for student leaders.
• Maintain data and calendar information in Salesforce and other CRM tools.
• Assist with virtual meeting and event planning/execution.
• Collaborate with broader Programs departments, including Research and Development, K-12 Initiatives, Marketing and Communications, and community initiatives.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Work a minimum of 20 hours per week, primarily between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday.

• Interest in mental health and uplifting young adult voices.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and well organized.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Student leadership or mentorship experience.
• Flexible team player, motivated collaborator.
• Openness and willingness to learn new tasks for special projects.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, Zoom, Dropbox, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools is a plus.

• Must be currently enrolled in, or have previously attended, a U.S.
  
  -based college or university.
• Must be able to complete a work authorization (I-9) during onboarding.
• Must be able to complete the entirety of the internship program during the listed dates.

Pay $18 per hour. Minimum 20 hours per week, remote, with a synchronized schedule.
