About Clowns Without Borders: Clowns Without Borders is a humanitarian organization dedicated to sharing joy and laughter with children and families who live in areas of crisis, including refugee camps, conflict zones, and territories in situations of emergency.

Role OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join the CWB team. This role is perfect for someone who loves social media, has a knack for creating engaging content, believes in the power of laughter, and wants to stand up for the rights of asylum seekers. As a Social Media Manager, you will engage with our community and grow our following.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with CWB team to develop and implement a social media strategy to enhance our online presence and community engagement.
- Create engaging images and videos in Canva, adding proposed captions as a comment. Use Buffer to (1) schedule content to Instagram and Facebook and (2) engage with our audience by responding to comments in a positive and encouraging manner.
- Highlight tours, events, and campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to ensure our platforms are dynamic and relevant.
- Meet twice a month with the Director of Communications to discuss new content ideas and align social media efforts with our overall marketing strategy.
- Passion for social media and digital communication. Solid understanding of Instagram and Facebook best practices for increased engagement. Basic experience using Canva.
- Interest in using AI to generate post ideas and improve captions.
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce visually appealing and engaging content.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to the mission and values of CWB.
- Experience in nonprofit social media management.
- Flexible working hours and the ability to work remotely.
