Position Title
Virtual Teacher – Remote (United States)

Schedule7 a.m. – 7 p.m. local time, Monday–Friday, year‑round.
CompensationBase pay: $20.50–$21.63 per hour ($44,948–$45,760 annually). Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on performance.

- Deliver academic guidance and support for students enrolled in online courses.
- Orient students to coursework, communicate course participation requirements, and enforce academic integrity guidelines.
- Augment course content by providing remediation, modification, and enrichment with appropriate learning strategies.
- Prepare for and facilitate synchronous instructional sessions delivered via an online learning platform.
- Conduct one‑to‑one tutoring sessions through web conferencing and virtual whiteboard technologies.
- Implement accommodations and modifications as required by individual education plans.
- Complete required department onboarding training.
- Contribute professional expertise to curriculum support and professional learning communities.
- Communicate with parents, school administrators, and partnering clients as needed.
- Maintain active educator licenses, clearances, and credentials.
- Respond to instructional leadership in a timely manner.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism in all interactions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- State‑certified teacher with access to a computer, high‑speed internet, and phone connection.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
- Willingness and ability to obtain additional certifications upon request.
- Will obtain a fingerprint clearance card within the first two weeks of employment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and capable of learning new technology and online systems quickly.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated, conscientious, and driven to achieve excellence.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent organization and documentation skills.
- Student‑focused, able to empower learning across a diverse population.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
