Pre-K Teacher

Overview

Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows is hiring a Pre-K Teacher for the Fernley Early Learning Center in Fernley, NV. This is a full-time/part-time position requiring a 4-year degree in Early Childhood Education or Development for children ages 3–5. Salary range: $43,000.00 – $47,000.00. The role is salaried and aligned with the school district and Boys & Girls Club calendar, including summer closure.

Instructional hours are expected to be 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with additional prep time before and after instruction (approximately 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.).

• Plan and lead academic and social-emotional activities in a 10:1 class ratio.
• Engage with student families to support learning and development.

You will have support from a full and engaged administrative team, including directors who collaborate with staff and address incidents and behavior with parents.

• Any one of the following:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or ECSE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field and state-approved ARL in Early Childhood
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field and 30 or more ECE college credits
  • Already enrolled in the TEACH program for an early childhood-related degree
• Experience with MS Word;
  Brightwheel is preferred.
