Mechanical Design Engineer (Aerospace, Defense, Automotive)

What We're Looking For
We're seeking talented and driven individuals with a strong foundation in mechanical design.
Rates: Up to $120 per hour (dependent on experience)
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physics, or Math.
- 2+ years of experience using CAD and FEA software packages.
- 2+ years of experience designing and developing mechanical components or systems.
- Previous experience working as a contractor (W2 or 1099).
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience designing structures and components for high-performance vehicles or aircrafts.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, including failure analysis and root cause investigation.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in recent versions of design software like Solidworks, NX and Teamcenter.
- Experience with analysis software like Ansys, Femap/Nastran, or Abaqus.
- Expertise in GD&T implementation and analysis (ASME Y14.5).
