Working remotely on a contract basis, the California Licensed Auditor III will assess the design and operational effectiveness of controls within various audits, focusing on compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities- Execute and process walkthroughs and validation work for assigned audits
- Test internal controls and ensure compliance during routine audit assignments
- Assess the adequacy of the bank's internal control environment across financial, operational, and process audits
- Minimum of BA/BS degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Basic understanding of internal audit principles, methodologies, and standards
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, frameworks, and standards
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in applying internal auditing standards and risk assessment practices
