Job Title: Senior SAP PP / PCS Consultant – Aerospace & Defense

We are seeking a Senior SAP PP / PCS Consultant to support a critical Digital Business initiative within the Aerospace & Defense sector. This role has been approved as an exceptional Level 2 support engagement and requires deep functional expertise in SAP Production Planning and Production Control & Scheduling (PP/PCS) within Discrete Manufacturing environments

The consultant will partner closely with business process owners to lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and integration activities across SAP S/4

HANA landscapes, with strong interaction across PLM and MES systems
.

• 15+ years of hands‑on SAP PP / PCS experience
• Proven experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry
• Strong background in Discrete Manufacturing
• Hands‑on SAP S/4
  
  HANA experience
• Deep expertise in SAP PCS (Production Control & Scheduling)
• Experience supporting complex manufacturing execution and shop floor processes

• Lead workstream requirement gathering with business process owners
• Translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions
• Plan and deliver Workshop A (system demos and presentation decks)
• Own requirements management and traceability

• Configure and document SAP PP / PCS solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices
• Support MBoM
  , Routings
  , and Shop Floor Execution processes
• Manage Work Centers, Bills of Materials, and Routings
  , including Revision Management and ECM
• Support Parameter Effectivity
  , including integration with PLM and MES

• Support full Production Order Lifecycle
  , including collective orders for MTS and MTO with WBS
  , external processing with Subcontracting
  , goods issues (batch‑managed) and reversals, rework and order splitting, availability checking and shortage reporting

• Lead and support integration with PLM systems
• Lead and support integration with MES systems
• Author functional specifications for custom developments
• Support authorization and security considerations related to PP/PCS processes

• Develop and execute test plans (standard and custom objects)
• Support change management activities
• Design and support reporting needs for manufacturing stakeholders, including end‑to‑end process flows

• Prior experience supporting regulated or highly controlled manufacturing environments
• Strong client‑facing communication and workshop facilitation skills
• Experience supporting large‑scale SAP transformation programs
