Dizario Search is conducting a search for a Supply Chain Manager in Lyon County, NV. This opportunity is with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a hands‑on leader to oversee purchasing, production planning, inventory control, warehousing, and shipping/receiving operations. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for driving inventory accuracy, supplier performance, material flow, and on‑time delivery while supporting operational excellence across the facility.
SupplyChain Manager Responsibilities
- Lead and manage purchasing, production planning, inventory control, warehousing, and shipping/receiving functions
- Develop and implement material management and supply chain strategies that support production and customer requirements
- Manage inventory levels, cycle counting programs, safety stock, and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Monitor supplier performance related to quality and on‑time delivery and implement corrective actions as needed
- Partner closely with operations, scheduling, and quality teams to optimize material flow and production schedules
- Drive improvements related to material shortages, excess and obsolete inventory, and overall supply chain efficiency
- Develop and track key performance metrics to support operational and supply chain objectives
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and results‑driven culture
- Support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in materials management, supply chain management, purchasing, inventory control, or related manufacturing functions
- Previous leadership experience managing supply chain, materials, planning, or inventory teams
- Strong background in production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and supplier performance management
- Experience with in a manufacturing environment required
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, demand flow, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- APICS certification preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
