Overview

This role reports directly to the Head of Biotech Unit (BTU) and is a member of the BTU core leadership team, contributing to overall BTU strategy and driving its vision and mission.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Develop, validate, and maintain project plans, schedules, and lead team planning sessions, including developing the team charter, defining project scope, and ensuring global cross‑functional alignment.
  • Support the Head of Biotech Unit on developing goals and operational KPIs.
  • Plan, track, and manage project milestones, goals, KPIs, project budget, dependencies, and critical path.
  • Implement good project and risk management practices.
  • Liaise with internal and external collaborators to deliver high quality work product and presentations.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives such as headcount and budget planning, budget change control, program management dashboards and reports, risk management, and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assume the responsibilities and leadership of independently providing alliance management for drug development partners and ensure smooth external collaboration.
  • Consult with the Advisory Committee on relevant topics and incorporate ideas into strategy and execution where appropriate.
  • Track project status, goals, operational KPIs, and enforce quality KPIs.
  • Ensure appropriate systems and technologies are deployed in the Biotech Unit and well interfaced with Global R&D.
  • Champion a global mindset and approach to foster collaboration and consistency across the organization.
  • Organize and coordinate core team meetings and facilitate them to drive efficient discussion, alignment, and decision making.
  • Understand competitors’ movements and market intelligence and translate insights into developing strategies.
  • Participate in company‑wide standard discussion, finalization, and implementation.
  • Manage the governance process for BTU.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Solid knowledge and expertise in managing scaled and complex global portfolios and programs.
  • Good understanding of worldwide clinical trial best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain positive work relationships at all organizational levels.
  • PMP certification a plus.
  • Experience in oncology/hematology drug development is preferred.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
  • Knowledge of Mandarin is desirable.
  • Proven ability to make sound judgement and decisions.
  • Ability to quickly assess problems/situations and provide effective resolution.
  • Detail‑oriented while maintaining a big‑picture perspective.
