Supervisor, Manufacturing ​/ Production, Manufacturing Production

Manufacturing company in Fernley Nevada is looking for experienced Manufacturing Shift Supervisors.

Both Day and Night Shifts.

Payrate $36.35 to $45.68 per hour depending on experience.

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations on the production floor
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Monitor production processes and address any issues that arise
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity
• Maintain production machines and work with maintenance on upkeep of equipment
• Any other duties that the Company in its sole discretion may assign as needed

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints, preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary
• Ability to troubleshoot and multitask
• Basic mathematic skills
• Team player who is reliable and trustworthy
• Maintains a clean and safe work area
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
• Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

• High school diploma or equivalent; required
• Technical degree or certification, preferred
• Experience as a production shift/team lead, required
• Experience with 5s, preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment +2 years, required
• Experience as a machine mechanic, required
• Some electrical, preferred
• Overhead crane, required
• Quality control experience, preferred
• Forklift experience, required

• Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• This position requires, but is not limited to, standing, walking, utilizing stairs or ladders, driving automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing and grasping
• Must be able to work in a non‑controlled environment
