- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
- Follow production schedules and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes.
- Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
- Assist in training new employees in manufacturing procedures.
- Understand the different types of raw materials and the appropriate manufacturing location where they should be utilized.
- Check the quality of products.
- Examine, measure, and weigh materials or products.
- Inform the shift supervisor about product quality problems, equipment problems, and safety concerns.
- Perform any other duties that the company in its sole discretion may assign as needed.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints, preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.
- Ability to troubleshoot and multitask.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Team player who is reliable and trustworthy.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; required.
- Technical degree or certification, preferred.
- Experience with 5S, preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, at least 1 year, required.
- Experience as a machine mechanic, preferred.
- Some electrical experience, preferred.
- Overhead crane experience, preferred.
- Quality control experience, preferred.
- Forklift experience, required.
- Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Position requires standing, walking, using stairs or ladders, driving an automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing, and grasping.
- Must be able to work in an uncontrolled environment.
