Pay Range: $38.42 to $44.14 per hour DOE
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled, well‑rounded Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our composite decking manufacturing facility. This hands‑on, boots‑on‑the‑ground role requires extensive experience across multiple critical plant systems and is not for a single‑discipline specialist.
Key Duties- Repair and maintain preventive maintenance on all mechanical systems including weight feeders, scales, conveyors, hot oil, steam, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment.
- Repair all electrical, electronic systems including servo equipment, photo eyes, electronic sensors, temperature controls, and combustion equipment.
- Troubleshoot programmable logic controls with understanding of ladder logic.
- Responsible for metal fabrication, machining, facility maintenance and preventative maintenance on the facility and all equipment.
- Participate in the management and maintenance of the parts inventory system, researching equipment to determine required parts.
- Support engineering in the improvement and/or development and implementation of new products and processes.
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain plant appearance safely.
- Working knowledge of motors, drives, control wiring, and PLCs required.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, work from heights, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
Work EnvironmentThis job takes place in and around a manufacturing facility. The role may involve a wide range of temperatures, working in confined spaces, wearing a harness in a boom lift up to 30+ feet off the ground, and using appropriate PPE.
Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience with all of the following:
- Industrial boilers
- Air compressor systems
- Hot oil systems
- Chillers
- Hydraulic systems
- PLC troubleshooting
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety‑first mindset
- Experience working on extrusion equipment preferred
Hourly compensation for this role $34.89 to $36.59 depending on experience.
