Base hourly rate: $24.94.

We are hiring a temporary-to-full-time Production Operator for our Fernley, NV facility, working the night shift (10:00 pm – 6:30 am). This entry‑level position focuses on communication, support of core company values, and progression through the Pay for Skills program.

• Monitor production during run.
• Communicate effectively over the radio.
• Cutting feet material, sampling product, moving materials by hand, operating a forklift, emptying trash carts, conducting clean‑up activities.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and assist with start‑ups.
• Monitor the production line and begin learning other key positions (Level 2‑4).
• Understand finished product specifications.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Accurate reading of tape measure, work instruction, finished product specifications.
• General math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages).
• Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Solid communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

• Stand for extended periods.
• Manually lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.
• Manual dexterity: repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling.
• Work safely in a fast‑paced, sometimes stressful, dusty environment spanning a broad temperature range.
• Endure a 12‑ or 8‑hour rotating shift schedule.
• Bend, stoop, or kneel repetitively.
• Reach or work above shoulder level.
