Shift supervisor, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Agru America Inc., a leader in engineered geosynthetics and plastic piping, is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will oversee shift production, ensuring safety, quality, and output targets are consistently met. You will coordinate staffing, train and coach operators, monitor equipment performance, and maintain accurate production records. Partnering closely with maintenance and quality teams, you will drive continuous improvement, uphold 5S and safety standards, and support a culture focused on innovation, teamwork, and long-term customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing activities for assigned shift to meet safety, quality, and production targets.
• Assign work, coordinate staffing, and approve shift changes and overtime as needed.
• Train, coach, and evaluate operators and technicians to build skills and performance.
• Monitor equipment and process parameters; coordinate with maintenance to resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures, PPE use, and company policies at all times.
• Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality records and report key metrics.
• Support and enforce quality standards, performing checks and addressing nonconformances.

• Communicate shift handover details and collaborate with other supervisors and departments.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across the shift.
