Job Description

Auto Zone’s store teams provide frontline customer service. As a Senior Retail Sales Associate, you will deliver WOW customer service by exceeding expectations and assisting customers, driving sales, and maintaining store operations. You will work with a team to support a positive retail environment.

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily tasks.
• Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow proper cash handling procedures, loss prevention policies, and keep store operations running smoothly.
• Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently, follow company safety policies, and use PPE.
• Product Knowledge & Installation Services – Stay up‑to‑date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions; assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• Basic automotive parts knowledge.
• Physical ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible full‑time schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, fluent in Spanish and English.
• Previous automotive retail experience.
• ASE certification.
