Description

EDL Packaging in DePere, WI is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to our team to focus on growing our client base in the Western United States.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial/packaging equipment sales, a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, nurture existing customers, and be a hunter/developer for new customers within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies sales plans to achieve company goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Actively seek out and develop new accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers on our packaging systems.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, including forecasts and budgets.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and networks
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales, strong understanding of packaging automation
  • Proven ability to develop new business and close sales.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the Western US territory
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
