Director of Sales (Benelux)

We are seeking a dynamic and motivational Director of Sales to join our team. You will lead a team of remote field executives through the full sales lifecycle, from initial engagement to deal closure, and develop a high‑growth go‑to‑market strategy that leverages both direct sales and channel partnerships to drive success in the region.

About the Role

As the Director of Sales for the Benelux region, you will lead a team of remote field executives responsible for driving new business opportunities and revenue growth, developing and executing a regional go‑to‑market strategy, overseeing daily operations—including sales forecasting and pipeline management—and cultivating a high‑performing sales culture. You will manage remote teams, build channel partnerships, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver an outstanding end‑to‑end customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence by inspiring and leading a team of Account Executives to consistently achieve or exceed annual sales and revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement the Benelux sales strategy to drive new business opportunities and revenue growth across the region.
  • Partner with Go‑to‑Market leadership and cross‑functional teams to deliver an outstanding end‑to‑end customer experience.
  • Build and strengthen enduring channel partnerships by leveraging your network and channel experience to expand market reach.
  • Work closely with sales operations and EMEA leaders to evaluate sales processes, ensure accurate forecasting, and improve methodologies.
  • Coach and mentor your team, creating tailored development plans for each member to drive professional growth and performance.
  • Effectively manage remote teams across the Benelux region, with occasional travel to meet team members and key stakeholders.
  • Utilize your deep understanding of enterprise sales in the Benelux region to provide mentorship, inspire your team, and support high‑stakes deals.
  • Set individual and team quotas, activity metrics, and budgets aligned with company objectives, ensuring accurate reporting and performance tracking.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and professional growth, ensuring collaboration within and beyond the sales team.
Qualifications
  • Leadership & Sales Expertise: 7+ years of experience in sales leadership within high‑growth SaaS, particularly in cybersecurity, with a proven track record of leading high‑performing teams in a matrix environment.
  • Channel‑First Mindset:
    Extensive experience and a strong network in channel sales, with a history of building successful partnerships.
  • Strategic Selling

    Skills:

    Expertise in enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC) and a consultative approach to solving customer challenges.
  • Customer‑Centric Focus: A commitment to understanding customer needs, delivering value, and ensuring a seamless customer journey.
  • Entrepreneurial Drive: A growth‑focused mindset with a proven ability to establish and expand regions or territories.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and with executive stakeholders.
  • Metrics‑Driven Success:
