Position SummaryThe Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth and expanding market share within an assigned territory. This individual will develop and execute strategic sales plans, build strong relationships with key accounts, manage a distribution network and identify new business opportunities across targeted surgical specialties.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with corporate objectives
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets within the assigned territory
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with surgeons, hospitals, and key decision-makers
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning
- Deliver product presentations and clinical education to customers and stakeholders
- Support product launches and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and leadership teams
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ongoing account engagement
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record of success in medical device or biologics sales
- Experience managing W2 or 1099 sales reps
- Experience selling into surgical specialties required
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, field-based environment
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory
