Our operations run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with terminals and driver opportunities in Fernley, Golconda, and the Elko/Carlin area. Role DescriptionGE Transport is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for full-time and part-time positions throughout Northern Nevada.
Drivers operate pneumatic tanker combinations transporting bulk cement, fly ash, and lime to mine sites and local facilities. Responsibilities include safely loading and unloading bulk materials, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, completing ELD logs and required paperwork, following dispatch instructions, and complying with DOT regulations, mine-site requirements, and company safety policies.
This is local, year-round work—not seasonal or over-the-road. Day and night shifts are available, and drivers return home daily.
Compensation and Benefits- Average weekly pay of $1,500–$2,250

- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Minimum of two years of commercial driving experience
- No automatic transmission restriction
- Must be at least 25 years old
- MSHA certification or willingness to complete company-provided training
- Ability to safely handle hoses, fittings, and other equipment used for pneumatic tanker loading and unloading
- Ability to climb, lift, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Smartphone or tablet capable of supporting ELD use
- Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings
- Strong attention to safety, communication, documentation, and customer service
Previous pneumatic tanker, bulk-material, mine-site, cement, or industrial hauling experience is preferred but not required for qualified applicants willing to learn.
ScheduleGE Transport operates 24/7/365. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with schedules based on location and operational needs.
