About the Role

We're looking for a compassionate and detail‑oriented Patient Registration Representative to join our hospital team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients arriving for appointments related to CPAP equipment fittings. Your work will play a key role in ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience while supporting accurate registration, insurance verification, and documentation processes.

What You'll Do

+ Greet and assist patients onsite, ensuring a positive and professional experience from arrival through registration

+ Register patients accurately and review required documentation for completeness and compliance

+ Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, co‑insurance, and deductibles with payers

+ Review clinical documentation to determine qualification and compliance for equipment and services

+ Support process improvement initiatives by assisting with workflow optimization, verification, and data accuracy

+ Develop and maintain knowledge of current products, services, and payer guidelines

+ Collaborate with internal teams across customer service, intake, operations, and revenue cycle functions

What You'll Bring

+ Comfort working independently as well as part of a team

+ Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications

Preferred (Not Required)

+ General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans

+ Familiarity with healthcare documentation and insurance verification processes

+ Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting

Hours

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm fully onsite

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Festus, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
