Patient Registration Specialist

This role is responsible for patient registration in a hospital setting, specifically supporting patients arriving for CPAP fitting appointments. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, experience with patient registration and insurance verification, and familiarity with EMR systems (Brighttree preferred). This position ensures patients receive a smooth, accurate, and supportive intake experience.

Key Responsibilities

+ Complete patient registration for individuals attending CPAP fitting appointments, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and a positive patient experience.

+ Support process improvement initiatives by assisting with workflow optimization, verification processes, and basic data analysis.

+ Maintain current knowledge of company products and services to accurately assist patients and staff.

+ Review payer guidelines and clinical documentation to determine equipment qualification, compliance requirements, and patient eligibility.

+ Operate effectively across all functions, including customer service, intake, daily operations, and revenue cycle workflows.

+ Review and validate all necessary documentation with high accuracy.

+ Process, verify, and submit documentation in a timely manner.

+ Complete insurance verification for eligibility, coverage levels, deductibles, and co‑insurance.

+ Provide exceptional communication to patients, clinicians, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
