PROMAN Staffing is hiring a Fabrication & Special Parts Technician for a manufacturing facility located in Festus, MO. This position focuses heavily on producing custom plastic components using vacuum forming, fabrication, and CNC processes. This is a detail-oriented, hands-on role that requires consistency, mechanical ability, and strong work ethic.

Schedule:

1st Shift Monday – Friday, 7:30AM – 4:00PM

Location:

Festus, MO.

Starting Pay: $20.00/hr.

What You'll Do:

• Perform fabrication processes including vacuum forming, blow molding, and CNC operations
• Operate vacuum forming equipment to heat and shape plastic materials into finished parts
• Use ovens and forming systems to prepare and mold raw materials
• Set up and adjust machines, tooling, and fixtures for production runs
• Fabricate finished parts by routing, trimming, drilling, gluing, sanding, and polishing
• Read and follow blueprints, prints, and production specifications
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, rulers, and calipers to ensure accuracy
• Inspect parts for quality and make adjustments as needed
• Handle custom and specialty production runs with attention to detail
• Pack, label, and stage finished goods for shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Prior experience in plastics manufacturing, fabrication, or vacuum forming preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and machinery
• Must be able to stand and walk 7+ hours per shift
• Must be able to safely lift up to 45 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong time management and ability to multitask
• Reliable transportation and attendance are non-negotiable

Work Environment:

• This is NOT a climate-controlled facility – expect heat, cold, and changing temperatures
• Hands-on manufacturing environment with machinery, tools, and heated equipment
• Fast-paced production setting with both standard and custom work
