Fabrication Technician

PROMAN Staffing is currently hiring a Fabrication / Special Parts Technician for a manufacturing facility in Festus, MO. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and experienced in hands-on manufacturing or plastics production. This position requires the ability to produce custom parts, follow specifications, measure accurately, and maintain excellent attendance. Plastics manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Perform custom fabrication and special parts production
• Assist with custom blow molding, vacuum forming, CNC operations, laser cutting, and other fabrication processes
• Use ovens to heat and form raw materials
• Set up tools and machines for production runs
• Route, trim, drill, glue, and polish finished products
• Follow drawings, prints, and production instructions to meet specifications
• Use rulers, tape measures, and calipers for dimensional checks
• Perform quality control checks on manufactured products
• Pack and label finished goods
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Plastics manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous fabrication, production, CNC, machine operation, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow drawings, prints, and production instructions
• Ability to use rulers, tape measures, and calipers
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work well with a team
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance required
• High School Diploma or GED required

• Stand and walk for 7+ hours daily
• Safely lift up to 45 lbs.
• Bend, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the shift
• Work in a manufacturing environment
• Maintain focus and accuracy while completing custom production work

• Has a strong eye for detail
• Enjoys hands-on custom fabrication work
• Can follow instructions, drawings, and measurements accurately
• Takes pride in producing quality parts
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Has strong attendance and reliability
