We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care in a Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit.
Responsibilities- Utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Ensuring patient rights and maintaining confidentiality.
- Collaborating with other departments to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitoring neuro and pulmonary patients with complex needs, including stroke, TIA, COPD, respiratory failure, and pneumonia.
- Performing frequent assessments, administering therapies, and providing education.
- Evaluating the care provided by other caregivers and maintaining professional accountability.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN licensure in the applicable state, with ongoing license maintenance.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
