Role:
The Regional Float Pool LPN provides bedside nursing care across multiple hospital facilities within the East Region, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care for adult and geriatric populations based on nursing standards.
Responsibilities:Floats between facilities, working in diverse units such as Med/Surg, ICU, ED, telemetry, and specialty areas. Builds clinical assessment and communication skills, collaborates with varied teams, and adapts to dynamic environments.
Qualifications & Skills:Graduate of an accredited LPN program, current LPN license, minimum one year recent bedside experience (two years for critical care). Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS (for ED), and IV certification required. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform patient care tasks.
Key Duties:Assess patient needs, deliver nursing care, and respond to various clinical settings, including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Neuro, Cardiac, Oncology, Emergency, ICU, and Behavioral Health units. Flexibility to float among at least three assigned facilities.
