Role Overview

The Behavioral Health RN utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by team members.

Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with organizational values and standards.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN), current RN licensure, and Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Provides therapeutic care in a structured environment for individuals with psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders, or substance use disorder. Involves evaluation, education, medication therapy, individual and group therapy, and relapse prevention.
