Position Overview:
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process and conceptual framework, ensuring professional accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:Coordinates patient care with other departments, manages cardiac and respiratory cases, and responds to patient acuity levels that exceed floor care but do not require ICU. The role involves assessment, teamwork, and managing a fast-paced environment combining elements of ED and ICU.
Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the applicable state or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire
Strong assessment skills, teamwork, adaptability to a high-pressure environment, and knowledge of cardiac and respiratory patient care.
