Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of stepdown experience.

• Active RN license valid in Missouri or MO compact license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent stepdown experience required
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
• No gaps in employment exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1, with no declinations or exceptions accepted

• Cardiac Stepdown Unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Neuro medical surgical patient population
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Rotating weekend requirement every other week
• Floating required as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Utilizes the nursing process to provide and coordinate patient care across departments
• Maintains professional accountability and evaluates care provided by other direct caregivers
• Upholds patient rights and confidentiality standards
• Black scrub color required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted, though local bill rates differ from travel rates
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer outside the radius
