Registered Nurse; GI Lab Mercy Jefferson

Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by others. Coordinates patient care with various departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties aligned with mission, values, and service standards.

• Provide direct patient care in a GI Lab setting.
• Assess patient needs and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality and patient rights.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license valid in the state or via compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or must complete within 30 days of hire.
