Director of Early Learning & Lead Teacher — Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy, Fife, Washington. Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy is seeking a caring, organized, collaborative, and mission-driven Director of Early Learning & Lead Teacher to support and lead our growing Early Learning Program. This individual will serve as both a lead classroom teacher and the coordinator of the Early Learning Center program, helping ensure high-quality care, instruction, communication, and consistency across the early learning and extended care programs.
The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys mentoring and supporting staff, and is committed to fostering a faith-filled, developmentally appropriate, and welcoming environment for young learners and their families. As part of Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy's dual-language immersion model, the Early Learning Program operates within a 90/10 Spanish immersion structure, where approximately 90% of instruction is delivered in Spanish.
Candidates must be fully fluent in both Spanish and English and able to support language development, communication, and instruction in both languages.
- Support and help oversee the daily operations of the Early Learning Center and Extended Care Program
- Collaborate with administration to ensure program consistency, organization, and compliance
- Help support, guide, and communicate with ECE teachers and extended care staff
- Assist with scheduling, classroom support, student transitions, and program needs
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and mission-centered team culture
- Support communication with families regarding student needs, routines, and program updates in both English and Spanish
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction and activities
- Deliver instruction primarily in Spanish in alignment with the school's 90/10 dual-language immersion model
- Create a safe, nurturing, organized, and faith-filled classroom environment
- Support children during instructional activities, play, meals, rest time, and transitions
- Encourage positive behavior and model kindness, patience, and respect
- Support faith formation through daily prayer, Catholic values, and classroom activities
- Support bilingual language development and culturally responsive learning experiences
- Foster a joyful and language-rich environment for all learners
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Support the social-emotional, spiritual, and developmental needs of young learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and program growth
- Participate in school activities and contribute to a positive school culture
- Help foster a welcoming and inclusive Catholic community
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Learning, or a related field
, or willingness to work toward obtaining - Minimum of 45 ECE credits or equivalent required
- Experience working in early childhood education required
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- ECE certification/coursework preferred
- Fluency in both Spanish and English required
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Warm, patient, flexible, and dependable personality
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education
- Understanding of and commitment to dual-language immersion education and bilingual learning environments
This is a full-time salaried position.
Salary range: $55,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Position is budgeted at approximately $60,000 annually. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant skills, education, and prior relevant experience.
