Hiring Range: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour

, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for those navigating oncology treatment. We are looking for a Patient Access Coordinator to be the welcoming face and trusted resource for our patients, helping them access care, insurance guidance, and supportive services with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.

What You’ll Do:
  • Warmly greet patients, visitors, and families, creating a safe, healing environment.
  • Manage patient check-ins, verify insurance, collect copays, and guide patients through each step of their visit.
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate lab draws, infusion sessions, and follow-up visits using our EHR system.
  • Assist patients in navigating insurance coverage, transportation, and interpreter services.
  • Conduct patient checkouts, review orders for labs, radiology, and referrals, and ensure smooth care transitions.
  • Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation and support front-office operations, including payment reconciliation and inventory management.
  • Act as a reliable resource for colleagues, contributing to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
What You Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years of medical reception experience to include working with WA State insurance companies, benefit eligibility, prior authorizations, and communication with patients about covered services.
  • Experience with cash collection, payment posting, and payment reconciliation.
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of practical application of HIPAA compliance and guidelines.
  • Successful completion of PACS training and certification required within (12) months of hire or within (12) months of enrollment into training program.
  • Preferred
    :
    Prior experience in an oncology or cancer care clinical setting
