Shift DetailsMonday‑Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Work LocationIntensive Residential Treatment Center (IRT); travel required within King and Pierce counties.
Compensation- Hourly wage: $38.00 – $40.00
- Retention bonus: $10,000
- Sign‑on bonus: $6,000
The Clinician II develops a recovery service plan and uses recovery‑oriented therapeutic counseling to engage individuals in their individual recovery journey. The clinician also orients individuals to the program by collaborating and assessing needs, identifying challenges, and facilitating the development of goals in the treatment and recovery process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Guest Care & Advocacy
- Serve as the mental health professional for individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community agency, when applicable.
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans for services.
- Assess the individual’s needs and provide appropriate support and referral.
- Provide short‑ and long‑term recovery‑oriented therapeutic counseling and education, on a group or individual basis.
- Provide family education and family counseling.
- Facilitate recovery education courses.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Determine a provisional diagnosis, obtain documentation of medical necessity and submit authorizations for service in a timely fashion.
- Complete clinical documentation as required.
- Complete Incident Reports according to policy.
- Stay abreast of federal and state regulations and Recovery Innovations policies.
- Adhere to Recovery Innovations compliance standards, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Additional Duties
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education/Licenses
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited institution.
- Associate licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required.
- State professional certification where applicable.
Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of behavioral health experience.

- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written.

- Effective listening skills.
- Must pass de‑escalation training, as defined by state requirements.
Driving Requirements
- Must meet all driving policy requirements if driving is required.
- If not qualified to drive, a Non‑Driver Attestation form must be signed.
Miscellaneous Requirements
- Travel required based on business need.
- Must be at least 18 years old unless a different minimum is set by state regulations.
- Complete all steps of the comprehensive credentialing process.
- Maintain confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
