Job Description Recruiter – Manufacturing Operations

Location:

Tacoma, WA (must be local)

At MITER Brands, recruiting isn’t just about filling roles—it’s about building the workforce that powers our operations and our future. We’re looking for a Recruiter who sees themselves as a business partner and trusted advisor to manufacturing leadership—someone who collaborates to shape hiring outcomes, not simply facilitate  this role, you’ll support high‑volume frontline hiring as well as first‑line and select operational leadership roles across our manufacturing footprint.

You’ll work closely with plant leaders and HR partners to translate business needs into thoughtful, scalable talent strategies, while delivering an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business, understands manufacturing environments, and brings curiosity and innovation to their work. You’ll leverage market insights, data, and MITER Brands’ employee value proposition to build strong talent pipelines, while continuously evolving how we attract and engage talent. You’ll also help shape how recruiting gets done—serving as an advocate for modern practices, including the responsible use of agentic and generative AI technologies to enhance speed, quality, and decision‑making.

What You’ll DoLead full‑cycle recruitment for manufacturing frontline and first‑line leadership roles

Partner with hiring managers as a trusted advisor on hiring strategy, role requirements, and candidate selection

Build meaningful talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, community engagement, and referrals

Apply deep role and business understanding to assess candidate fit and identify development or alternate‑role opportunities

Support internal mobility and workforce planning in partnership with HR Business Partners Champion AI‑enabled recruiting and automation tools to continuously improve the TA delivery model

Spend time in manufacturing locations and at hiring events to strengthen relationships and business insight

What You Bring3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in manufacturing or high‑volume operational environments

Strong consultative skills, business acumen, and the ability to influence at multiple leadership levels

Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with experience using AI or automation tools in recruiting

Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership

Collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional candidate and hiring‑manager experiences
