An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced staff nurse to work within the North East Fife locality community nursing Service in Fife – (St.Andrews Pipeland/Blackfriars).

You are required to be a registered Nurse, with Community Nursing experience. You should be enthusiastic and have excellent communication skills and extensive clinical expertise and knowledge are essential, as well as a desire to assist the Community Nursing Team to deliver a high quality service.

The post will include working weekends and public holidays and you must have an ability to provide evening cover as required in addition to being able to work in other areas across the Fife-Wide division if the service warrants it.

This post holder will be required to work within a 24 hour, 7 day Community Nursing Service.

An ability to travel across the locality is essential.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
