The Slahal Food Server is responsible for greeting guests as they are seated, providing beverages, suggesting menu items, and taking food orders while delivering superior guest service. Additional duties include accepting money and giving change, operating the POS system, and keeping the server station stocked and clean at all times. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.
Education- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum two years of high-volume fine dining or casual dining food service experience required
- Must be able to follow specific instructions and provide excellent guest service
- Must have good grooming habits and manners
- Must have a valid Washington State food handler’s card
- Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
- Can lift up to 40 pounds
- Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
- Must tolerate a smoke-filled environment
- Must be able to work all scheduled shifts, including day, swing, graveyard, and holidays
All applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre‑employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant unless the position requires driving a company vehicle.
