Job SummaryInside Sales Representative – The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role that supports telephone and walk‑in customers with rentals of all types of construction and industrial equipment. The role is the company’s front‑line contact with the customer, whose purpose is to understand customer equipment needs, negotiate and place orders, and provide excellent customer service and administrative support.
Responsibilities- Develop skills for career growth through an outside sales or operational management career track.
- Use inside sales or customer service skills for steady hours and potential overtime.
- Work with a team to meet customer needs.
- Understand customer equipment needs and place orders.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication at all times.
- Perform administrative duties related to sales and customer service.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and compliance.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools and equipment.
- Previous equipment rental industry experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and telephone skills.
- Solid computer and administrative skills.
- Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations.
Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more. May work indoors or outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.
Compensation and BenefitsBase Pay Range: $23.52 – $27.93 per hour (starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and/or experience).
