The Non-CDL Truck Driver will drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area.
1st Shift
: 7:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate:

Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
- Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
- Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
- Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
- Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
- Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing them company positively.
- Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- 2+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
- Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus
- Strong commitment to customer service
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 85 lbs., if necessary
- Flexible shifts with the capability to undertake overnight trips 1-2 nights per week Comfortable sitting for extended periods
