Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling duties under general supervision. This role ensures the accurate receipt, verification, storage, movement, and shipment of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished goods. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and RF scanners, possess strong attention to detail, and be capable of maintaining accurate documentation while supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
  • Verify received items against shipping documentation and purchase records.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and completeness.
  • Gather, verify, test, package, and prepare materials for shipment according to specifications and transportation requirements.
  • Process outbound shipments and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
  • Record received and shipped items using computerized systems and written documentation.
  • Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Route materials, supplies, and equipment to designated inspection, storage, or production areas.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and hydraulic pallet jacks.
  • Maintain organized inventory and warehouse storage locations.
  • Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock management activities.
  • Follow established shipping, receiving, safety, and quality procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, carriers, and warehouse personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience.
  • Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment required.
  • Experience using RF scanners and inventory tracking systems required.

    Knowledge of standard shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Ability to complete written and electronic documentation accurately.
  • Basic reading, writing, mathematical, and computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse activities throughout the workday.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record may be required.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, or material handling required.
  • Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment required.
  • Experience utilizing RF scanners, warehouse management systems, or inventory software preferred.
